In Science we will read “Bird Watching”, “Field Marks” and “Benefits of Birds” in Exploring
Creation.
The
children will also pretend to be animals as they move to a call response song
entitled “Pole, Pole” from the Smithsonian Children’s Collection.
We
will continue to work on our picture study and Nature Boxes.
We
are planning a field trip to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History on
Monday, September 30. We will leave the school at 9 o’clock and return at 12
o’clock. “The Flight of the Butterflies” at the Omni Theatre begins at 10:15
(They begin seating at 9:45). We are also planning to visit the children’s area
of the museum. Admission is $8.50 for
children and $16.00 for adults. Please
turn this in to Mrs. Hague by Thursday.
We will learn about Chefs as we continue our
study of Community Helpers. We are also
planning to make bread this week.
