We
will be reading the “Two Unexpected Visitors”.
The children will illustrate what they heard from the story.
In History the children will be creating Stained Glass pictures using cellophane.
The
children will narrate Chapter 3 on ”The Castle of the North Wind”.
In Music the
children will be taking turns dancing with fairy wings to Monteverdi’s
“Canzonetta”.
In Science we will be reading about bees and how they eat
pollen, honey, and nectar. We will also read about butterflies and practice the
lifecycle in Science Center.
We
will practice narration with The Three Wishes, and sequence the story in
circle. The
children will work together to act out The Three Wishes.
We
will read from Luke 10 and read “Mary Listens to Jesus Teach” and “Listening” from
The Bible in Pictures and The Beginner’s Bible.
We
will read about bees in Exploring Creation and learn about
pollination. The
children will sketch a purple kale for their Nature Journal.
