In Science we will be learning about Neptune this week. The children have been doing really well practicing the names of the planets in order during circle time.
In Bible we will read "Three Men from Heaven" and "God Tests Abraham's Love" from The Bible in Pictures.
We will begin making our cat mummies for Social Studies this week. We will be reading how the Egyptians mummified their cats. The children will narrate the "Cat's Journey" from Spend the Day in Ancient Egypt.
We will be practicing our Thanksgiving songs in music this week. We will be presenting these songs next week at our Thanksgiving Feast.
The children enjoyed observing and narrating about the "Woman with Chrysanthemums". We will continue to work on this painting using watercolors.
Our field trip to see Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer at the Artisan Theatre is on November 29th. Admission is $5 per person. Please turn your money in to Mrs. Hague by this Wednesday. We have to pay the theatre by this Thursday.

Our Fall Party was a blast. The children played candy corn bowling, pin the nose on the pumpkin, pumpkin toss, and drop the rat. They all enjoyed their prizes they won for playing each game. Thanks to all the parents who helped with prizes and treats for the party.
We will be reading and narrating from Rumpelstiltskin. We will learn about how to use an apostrophe as we do an activity sheet about the Miller's daughter.
