April 7-10
Last week the children witnessed the metamorphosis of our pupa and were very excited when the adult beetle emerged from the pupa exoskeleton. This week we will observe the exploratory behavior of our beetle and discuss it in circle. Noah’s father will share the Torah Scroll with us on Tuesday that he is planning to take to Belgium.
In Nature Study the children will practice sketching a Geranium for their Nature Journals this week.
In Art the children will create and decorate Easter egg picture frames.
We will read Sarah Morton’s Day (a day in the life of a pilgrim girl) as we prepare for our field trip to the Log Cabin Village this Thursday. Please bring a lunch in a lunchbox with a cold pack. We are planning to have a picnic at Trinity Park after our visit to the Log Cabin Village. Please return your field trip permission slip with $3.00 admission by Wednesday. We will meet at the school at 8:45 and depart at 9:00.
