In Bible we will learn about the “fitted feet”
that are part of the Armor of God. The
children will explore the account of Paul and Silas in prison, and consider how
they were ready to share the Gospel at all times. We are also planning to act out the story in
class.
In Music
children will work to create and play handmade instruments. They will practice
alternating instruments as they follow directions to “What to Do When the Music
Makers Have the Flu” from Castles, Knights, and Unicorns.In Social Studies we will read “The Crusades” and listen to a reading of “Robin Escapes Capture” from Robin Hood.
The
children will be narrating chapters 11 and 12 on “Homesickness” and “The House
is Haunted”.
In Science we
will read “Twig Anatomy” and Twig Growth” in Exploring Creation.
