In Nature Study/Science we will be observing and sketching different kinds of gourds. We will also talk about the shapes and colors of the gourds. The children will sketch and color the gourds and pumpkins with colored pencils for their Nature Journals.
We will begin reading and narrating about mummies in The Story of the World. The children will paint a drawing of King Tutankhamun's body being mummified.
Our Fall Party is Monday, October 31st. The children may dress up as their favorite Nursery Rhyme/storybook character. Please send a change of clothes. There will be a sign up sheet in the hall for our party.
