The children will be making Christmas cards for their family and friends. We will be using stamps and stickers to add to the cards. The students will also be creating their own sticker snowman to take home.
We will be reading about how the children in Israel celebrate Hanukkah. We will also be reading about the African celebration of Kwanzaa.
In Science we will be talking about the different kinds of weather. The children will be sorting different sizes of nuts in Science Center. We will be observing the Chrysanthemum flower outside and painting our own to put in our Nature Journal. The children will be painting their own flower and cutting and pasting the different names/parts of a flower.
Be sure and turn in the permission slip and money for the Omni Theatre Field Trip next Thursday. We will have our Christmas Party when we get back from the field trip.
Be sure to bring the envelope with money and names to buy for if you would like your child to buy Christmas gifts from the Reindeer Lane Store this Wednesday. We will be going on Wednesday morning.
