This week we will decorate our Easter bonnets, fingerpaint big Easter eggs, and create our own Bunny puppets. We will also read several stories by Beatrix Potter.
In Math we will be using subtraction on number lines and reviewing how to count by 5's and 10’s. Please be practicing these concepts at home.
We will be planting different flowers and plants in our atrium and drawing them during Nature Study. We will continue exploring our Sense of Touch using different textures of food and different kinds of objects.
In Bible we will practice Kindness as we learn about our Fruits of the Spirit. We will read about the kindness of Boaz to Ruth and have a Puppet Show called “The Lost Money.”
Remember, our class will meet at Dalworthington Gardens Park on Tuesday, April 7 to feed the ducks. Please meet us there immediately after school.
We are planning a field trip to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History on Thursday, April 23 to visit the interactive Space exhibit for children located in the Cowgirl Museum. An information sheet is attached.
Our Easter party will be this Thursday, April 9. We will wear our Easter bonnets and have an Easter tea party. Please send an Easter basket and 12 filled plastic eggs(with wrapped candy or prizes), and seal them with tape. The hunt will begin at 2:30.
Please remember to bring a warm jacket to school for the playground. It has been chilly and windy during the morning recess time.
