This week we will be learning about our sense of hearing. We will play listening games and use the sound cylinders in Science Center. The children will be reading about Saturn.
In Nature Study, the children will be learning about the American Robin. We will be reading about the lifecycle from egg to robin. We will also be narrating about the Audubon Robin Painting. Each child will paint their own Audubon painting of the American Robin.
In Math, we will be counting nickels and dimes. We will also practice writing our days of the week in order.
The children will be starting Explode the Code: Book C. This week we are learning words that begin and end with the letter “c”. We are also reviewing words that have the short and long “u” sound.
We will be pretending to walk in space with music to “Adventure in Space”. The kids will also dance to classical music with scarves while pretending to fly like birds.
We will be off next week for Spring Break. Have a wonderful holiday.
